Joshua Pratchard – Serving California Through Quality Construction
For more than 15 years, Joshua Pratchard has overseen different construction and civil engineering projects in California. A resident of Concord, California himself, Joshua Pratchard has worked in the commercial and nonprofit spaces, collaborating with private corporations and city municipalities on projects that revitalize communities and positively impact the lives of residents.
While working in the commercial sector, Josh Pratchard was involved in the crane operations used during the construction of the Oakland Bay Bridge and the Doyle Drive expansion of HWY 101 through the Presidio in San Francisco. He also managed the special crane operations projects at the SLAC research facility for the DOE. As of 2022, he works at Drill Tech Drilling and Shoring in Antioch, overseeing project engineering for foundational piles and design build shoring systems.
In the nonprofit space, Joshua (Josh) Pratchard worked as a program director for Second Chance Fields in San Diego. The nonprofit builds new sports fields for public schools, providing opportunities to student-athletes through sports. Mr. Pratchard worked at the nonprofit for nine years, identifying schools with problematic sports fields and constructing new ones for them through partnerships with businesses and community donors. San Diego City Councilwoman Lori Zapf recognized him for his work.
Mr. Pratchard was an active member of the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2005 and was a reserve from 2005 to 2007. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking.
